ALFA Experience.

This would probably sound a bit cliche coming from me but who cares. I had a pretty good time these past few days in ALFA College and I can say I've come to really like it there. It might now be a top notch college like it's neighbor, Taylor's College but I think it suits me pretty well with the family-like environment that they have between the students and the lecturers. To me, that would be an advantage to students that designs because they'd probably want to have as much access to the lecturers at all time to know how good their designs are and actually how far they can go with their potentials. And ALFA also a credited college so that makes it way easy for their students to apply to overseas universities. The partnership that they have with overseas universities are actually pretty impressive too for a small college. Profession like architecture has very specific pathway in Malaysia and they have come to make sure that their college graduates are on the right track by having these linkage with recognized universities. How convenient is that? So, practically ALFA sort of on the top of my list for the college of my choice. So far.

I had loads of fun during both workshops and I think any other way either IA or AR, it'll be fine with me. It's just either you design a furniture for IA or a building for AR. Both are very fun and intriguing. And the friends I made through out the workshops were cooler than I've expected. We connected so easily. I guess, birds of the same kind do flock together. I've been lucky maybe because everyone was so easy to work with during the group challenges! The ALFA student helpers were very helpful and encouraging and the lecturers are very bubbly and sporting. Furthermore, was I amaze at the artworks that the students made! Some of my friends back in SSP might not really get it but how cool was it to look at a magnificent piece of art and not just be able to awed by it but can also relate it to the person beside you who also sort of understands the beauty of the art piece. (Whoa, I totally sound like someone who has been in a different crowd all my life.) And what are the odds that my group won both challenges on both days? *wilddisbeliefface. Way AWESUMMM. Way to spend the weekends with new things too!

Hopefully, if God will's I will enroll in ALFA for my diploma. For my degree? I think I'll take it one step at a time. It is a long process to becoming a registered architect. So might as well just go with the flow. Success is subjective. Now let the pictures do the talking.
