Catching up on myself.

"What have you been doing all these times?" - bloggie

Lol. Not that the blog would ever say that for real. But seriously, yeah, what have I been doing? Ha ha. I know I haven't been writing much like I should, I guess things sort of just happens around the house in my life that I sometimes couldn't help but just let them. Surely, life should be a lot easier since I'm not in school. But hey, it's not as easy as I expected. I did plan. But then, as His servants we can only plan, can't we? It's up to him to make it all happen.

This week actually was a very fast one indeed. I had those driving classes I've been putting aside for sometime since I was away and it was all I can think of this week. Lol. I know I should be having a fun time with the classes, but I also can't help by having those butterflies about driving for the first time. And turns out, it was fun. All it needed was some patient and calmness. Kak Mah, my instructor was very kind and helpful. However, the fun part had to come to an end. Yesterday was my last class and due to some other complications at the driving school, I can't have my test until the end of the month. Oh well, good things for those who wait. No rush.

Hey, I didn't even get to tell you guys about the last family gathering that we had the other day on Huda's birthday also in conjunction with our Prophet Muhammad's (PTBUH) birthday. It was a blast. It's been a while since the family had gotten together and I think I did sort of miss them. I can't remember the last time I've been to Pak Teh's house though. I mean, they just moved in again to the house on the hill of Zoo View like a year ago, I think, and I haven't been there since before the landslide tragedy. It was quite a shock to the whole family when that happened but thank god Pak Teh and the family was saved when the landslide happened. They were quite lucky as well because the house survived. Some of their other neighbors weren't so lucky like they were. And it was a very beautiful house on the hill actually. Don't let start on the view that they have from the balcony. Why do you think they call it the Zoo View? Ha ha. It was a mesmerizing -as-far-as-the-eye-can-see view of KL and it's roads. Get's even better at night actually. And a lot had changed in the house too since I then. Anyway, we had a cook out BBQ by the empty pond and a heart wrenching ice-cream cake for the birthday girl from Baskin Robbins. Mmm, yummy right? Too bad Haziq can't be there and Nadhirah too. Or not it'll be way cooler. I miss Wan and Mak Lang and all the Melaka peeps, it's great to see them again. The foods was AMAZING and the pictures by Abg. Faris was splendid. But of course we have to have the normal cam whoring when the family gets together. It's like a routine since the last few years. And nobody owned the pictures like we do. The presents we bought for Huda was nice and for the first time in the family history, we actually finished a cake on a birthday celebration. Ha ha. Shows how good the cake is. LOL.

Ama and Kappa got me thinking of getting the 'dakwah' thing on the road too these days. I mean, I should be thankful about having these guys just to have that small chat on Islam. Not many would spend time talking about these topics anyway. I guess I should do it at least once a week. And the other day as I was Facebook-ing, I came across this irritating picture of a friend of mine with a very peculiar combination of clothes on. I don't know about anyone else but the most annoying things for me to see these days other than the critical condition of the environment, it would be how little some of the hijabians these days would think when they decided to dress themselves. I mean, the girl has a very pretty assemble of hijab on her head but with a short sleeved shirt on. What was she thinking?! If it was some random girl, I could have let it go. But it was a friend of mine. Close friend. Haven't she been paying attention to the Usrah at school? Astargfirullahalazim. Girls these days should actually be better at dressing and know how they should wear them the right way. Fashion is no longer a problem to follow. I just don't get it. I'll continue my argument on a new post later. Let's leave it here.

So, I guess that's as far as I can go for now. I have more other thing to do for myself that doesn't involve the Net. Like sketching. Grr. I haven't drawn a single thing in soooo long it hurts just by thinking about it. lol. Until then, stay cool and stay true to yourself. Ha ha.
