Simple words. Big MEANING.

She cried looking at the fate that lay in front of them. Both of them. He was holding the deep disappointment back himself, trying hard not to let it pour like the tears prickling down her cheek.

How can she ever begin to say how lamented she feels right now. With just one word, everything had gone to dust in mere seconds. She could never deny, this is all her wrongdoings, her selfishness, her fault and she was the right to blame. At first, yes, maybe the decision was an easy way out to get what she wanted and maybe more. But then, should have she known, she wasn't the only one on this joy ride. SHE SHOULD HAVE THINK AGAIN. How could she be soo stupid?! She knew better. If only she could turn back the time-- SHE WOULD. SHE should have said NO.

Hurting him is the last thing she would ever think of. And she can't believe she did it.

"Even though you're quite far away, I can't stop to admit, you are something,"

He'd be there for her. Through all the time, he'd still be there, waiting for her. Waiting for her call, her text, her 'hey hey' or maybe for a few seconds, her TIME. He'd gave anything. He believe. There is hope.

But she didn't see that, did she? She was living her life now, filled with attention. And having him at her aid wasn't actually a surprise. She even got tired of the attention sometimes. She knew what's going on and what's going to happened. The scene eventually repeats itself. Or so she thought.

Days went by, she find herself come to like him. He is some sort, different from the others. He's there... always there. But he never seems to make a big deal of it. So she waited. Wanting to know what will happen for the first time, with such curiosity. He was quite perfect actually. The looks, the personality, the CHARM. She's going heads over heels. Almost.

Time flew by. Days go longer. The scenery went dull bit by bit. She started to get torn apart by the waiting. But he still loyally stay by her from time to time. Not leaving a single day without a clue for her to investigate, not knowing she was never that observant. His heart's string went tough through anything to get to her.

Eventually, the attention dries up. She can't life without it. She long for it. Suddenly along came a fair string, daring, asking her for her hand. She was surprised. It was a very familiar string no doubt. But it wasn't his. The one she wanted. She looked back. Going through all the memoirs, trying her best to get a great glimpse of his. But none shone. Well, none actually shone that bright. She was devastated. Without a doubt, she grabbed the string and tied it to her wrist.

Fate didn't let the string go rotten so easily. The next day, he came around. With a bouquet of roses and a heart full of excitement. He walked up to her, eyes glowing with hope, ready to give her his life. Shock shows in her eyes together with a dust of guilt. He didn't get to start his speech seeing the string. She hold her breath trying not to get the tears fall.

The bouquet dropped so fast and hard, it seemed like his heart just went down to the floor too. She tried to explain. But all he heard is the sound of broken bells. He swallowed hard, trying to get everything down. He was to late. She's no longer his. He dropped on his knees letting the sadness drown him. Her damp collar eventually meet his cheek. She hugged him so tightly, she let him hear her heart beating. All this while, she too has been making hopes. She had actually loved him. Her heart had tattooed his name all this while without her knowing.

Too bad. All is done.

He looked up at her. Smiling sourly, he touched her wet cheek. Looking her with true love, he crossed his heart with his finger. Sending a sign to her that their memoirs are forever in him. He'd remember it always. He rose and kissed her forehead. She hold his hand firm. Not letting him go. She can't bear to think about the days to come without him. How could she? She love him so dearly. She took the back of his palm, rested her cheek on it. He stretched a thin smile. Trying to hide the pain. Still holding her, he took the string on her wrist and tied his ribbon to it. Hoping she'll be happier after this.

With a tight hug. He left.
